My EME History
Feb. 2007 : I started Satellite operation with small antennas setup on the Balcony.
I enjoyed LEO satellite operation, but I could never recieved the signal
via the Moon using these setup.....
Oct. 2007 : I started to build up the tower on the balcony for EME challenge.
31st Oct. 2007 : Complete!

22nd Nov. 2007 : My 1st ever EME QSO!! (2m WSJT with PA0JMV, Joop MNI TNX!!)
I had not well-understanding about WSJT software.
I did not used narrow "Tol". (Still 400Hz) But Joop's signal
was decoded very well !
I used bare foot IC-910D(50W QRPp) and reached to Joop -29dB.
Using these setup, I could worked with 29 big guns on 2m and 1on 70cm!
It is restricted the output power to only 50W on 2m and 70cm band in Japan.
So, we have to get the "Special High power license" for EME.
By using these antennas array that setup at very low height, It was very
difficult to clear the "Radio Protective Guideline" in Japanese
law and get the high power license.
I decided to build a high tower to clear the guideline.
26th Jan. 2008 : The new tower was built!! Maximum height 21m.
2m: 4X13el(3WL) Yagi stacking space 3.6m
70cm: 4x20el(5.7WL) Yagi stacking space 1.6m
For I had no skill to make hi-power linear amplifiers, I asked JA6TAY (Bear Electronics Co.) to make them.

May 2008 I completed to make applications for the special high-power licence.
It took about 3 months!
Those were needed to explain why I needed to hi-power for EME, station
equipments were safty under the Radio Prospective Guideline, and so on......
36 sheets of A4 papers!!
Jul. 2008 I had inspection of equipments.
6th Aug. 2008 I got the special high-power license for 2m and 70cm!!
